Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between you and Ceylon Nikah (ceylonnikah.lk). By using Ceylon Nikah’s matrimonial service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, including all modifications made to these terms, conditions, and privacy policies. You should review these Terms and Conditions regularly. We will post notice of any changes on this page. Additional terms may apply to specific services, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those services. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the additional terms, the additional terms will apply. Failure to comply with these terms does not waive our rights to enforce them in the future. If any term is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms will still apply.
Intellectual Property Rights
Using our Services does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access. You may not use content from our services unless you have obtained written permission from its owner. These Terms do not grant you the right to use any branding or logos used in our Services. Do not remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed with our Services.
Privacy
Ceylon Nikah’s Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and protect your privacy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes:
Profile Visibility: Members can view your personal details such as name, date of birth, and demographic information, but your profile photo will only be visible to other members upon approval or if you choose to share it.
Photo View Requests: Members can request to view your profile photo. You will be notified and can choose to accept or decline these requests.
Communication Features: Features like ‘Express Interest,’ ‘Shortlist,’ and ‘Ignore’ allow you to manage interactions with other members. Communication through our platform is done at your discretion, and we are not responsible for any personal information shared directly between users.
Right to Use
Your right to use the Services is subject to limitations, conditions, and restrictions established by Ceylon Nikah at our sole discretion. Access to view other users' profiles is based on the validity of the existing profiles. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access.
Age Restriction
Ceylon Nikah services are intended for users who are 18 years or older.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Ceylon Nikah Services in accordance with the following guidelines:
a. Keep your credentials secure. b. Do not share information received from other users without their permission. c. Do not engage in harassment or offensive behavior, including posting defamatory, racist, pornographic, or indecent content. d. Do not use Ceylon Nikah for promoting products or services, or for unsolicited marketing. e. Do not infringe on the privacy rights of others. f. Do not post false information or use the service in a fraudulent manner. g. Do not transmit or upload harmful software or engage in hacking. h. Avoid aggressive behavior towards other users or customer support. i. The responsibility for verifying profile information lies with the user.
Profile Fees, Renewals, and Add-On Services
Refer to the fees and promotions section on our website for details. Features included in your profile are based on the package at the time of payment. New features may be added at our discretion. Profile renewals follow the same process as initial activation, with updates applied as per the new terms at renewal time.
Profile Image Guidelines
Profile images must meet our guidelines to be approved. Non-compliant images will prompt a notification for an update but will not affect profile activation. Profile images can be updated as desired, subject to manual approval.
Image Guidelines:
Male: Show face clearly without distractions (e.g., glasses).
Female: Face should be visible, covering ears and hair as much as possible.
Optimal Size: 200 pixels X 200 pixels (72 dpi).
Refunds Policy
All payments made to Ceylon Nikah are non-refundable.
Deactivate or Reactivate Your Account
You can deactivate your account through the site and reactivate it later. Deactivation will stop all communications from the site, and your profile information will be hidden from other members. Deactivation is limited to three times. After this limit, your account will be permanently locked and cannot be reactivated.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
